Tama's Classic Stand series consists of products that have been inspired by the compact, lightweight, flat-based hardware that was popular in the '60s. If your bass drum doesn't have a hole for a tom holder or you want the purest resonance from both your bass drum and your tom, mounting the tom on a cymbal stand can be a good idea. This may not be the most stable solution, however, and the cymbal and tom resonance can also interfere with each other. The best solution, therefore, is this HTS58F tom stand by Tama.

The stand has a simple, efficient design that sits flat on the ground for optimal stability and the basket size is easy to adjust to accommodate different size toms. Two of the three arms can be folded for easy transport and the third is extendible. The height of the stand can be adjusted to between 563 and 816 mm so that you can set it up to perfection. This top-quality vintage '60s-style tom stand is lightweight and easy to assemble and disassemble too.

Ik heb deze stand gekocht als aanvulling van het Tama classic stands hardware pakket. Net als het pakket bevalt ook deze stand zeer goed. Licht van gewicht, super qua looks en geschikt voor toms van 10-14 inch.
Speel je metal of hardrock dan zou ik persoonlijk een andere keuze maken maar voor pop, rock, rhythm and blues etc is deze stand (net als de hele serie) perfect. En nog betaalbaar ook!
